Zhuhai, January 6, 2021 – Canon and Ninestar have resolved their pending lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California regarding Ninestar’s alleged infringement of Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 9,851,688; 9,857,766; 10,620,582; 10,712,709; and 10,712,710.  Without admitting any wrongdoing, in order to amicably resolve the lawsuit, Ninestar has agreed to stop making, using, selling, and offering for sale in the U.S., and importing into the U.S., the toner cartridges that Canon accused of infringement.  Further details of the settlement agreement are confidential.
