In April 2021, Canon released PIXMA G550/G650 series photo printers in Europe using six refillable dye-based ink tanks that Canon says “offer simplicity, versatility and brilliant print quality”. In May, aiming at business printing market, Canon released the “ever-dependable, cost-conscious, high volume refillable” MAXIFY GX6050/GX7050 series printers.
